So Andy Murry overtook Rafael Nadal to be the new World Number 2 as of this week.
Rankings as of 17th August 2009. 
It’s nice to see new blood taking over and nice to see some movement/fluctuations in the rankings, but at the same time it’s difficult to see Nadal drop one place.

Roger Federer is out of the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai. Yep, the one that he held the title for 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007. He was the runner up in 2005.
There he goes, there he goes again…
But if I’m not mistaken, he’ll still end the year at world number 2. A small victory really.
